We pray for comfort and strength for the family. Mary was a special friend, an amazing teacher and counselor. We so appreciated her sense of humor, and caring ways. We have a stitchery that she created for us in the hall. Just yesterday I found a precious note from her. We will miss her but look forward to seeing Mary and Bill again someday. Mary was the person who help me believe that God really loved me. Mary also was my friend and confidant, mentor, she really helped to Love myself. she is now in the presence of our heavenly father safe and whole!
Mary has been a dear friend to the Townsend family. She showed the love of Jesus in every way. It was Mary, Sue and some others that sat around the table in her house with Bibles open and learning the things of God. This would later lead to many people coming to Jesus and being free. She was a true warrior for the Kingdom…. The Good part of this is we not have to say farewell but .. We will see you in the Kingdom. She really lived a life that followed hard after Christ.
