Mary Louise Estes' Obituary
A Rim With A ViewIf you are seeking peace, solace and serenity– The Grand Canyon is the place to be. Never mind the crowds that come from afar, There are sanctuaries to be found, if you know where they are! For each of thirty years, plus another few- We were drawn to the Canyon, but not just for the view. When our batteries were low and nearly run down, From the stress of jobs, family or just being in town. We packed the R.V., whatever it was at the time, And were off to the Canyon and it’s wonderful sublime! While I walked the rim trail, the south side was best, He set up the camp and took much needed rest. The Lord has blessed us with this splendor formed in eons past- I trust it will be there for you, after we are laid to our rest. When my soul is eternal with batteries that never drain, My spirit will re-visit the Canyon to glorify the Lord’s name!
