Mary Ann H. Thompson's Obituary
Mary Ann Elizabeth Harlow Thompson was born on March 11, 1924. She was the 2nd of 7 children born to Marshall & Leona Harlow. Mary lived in Texas until she graduated from High School and came to San Diego with her older brother. She worked at General Dynamics where she met our dad and was married August 24, 1951 in Yuma Arizona.She lived in El Cajon soon after they were married. she moved to Ramona in 1978, a few years before our dad retired and enjoyed gardening and cooking great meals and all kinds of sweets! She was a member of Grace Community Church and believed in the finished work of Jesus Christ. She was very out-spoken, caring, homemaker, encouraging and a good friend to many in the community. She was very happy retiring in Ramona and enjoyed all her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed the many ocean cruises. Her favorite music was country. She is survived by her children Jimmy Thompson and John Thompson of Ramona, Shirley Thompson of Santee, 4 grandchildren (Kelly Acves, Taryn Thompson, Aaron Thompson, and Matthew Thompson) all living in California, and 10 great grandchildren, her brother Marshall Harlow of Boulevard, sister Betty Service of Escondido.
