Mary Louise Williams' Obituary
Mary Louise Dunlop was born on a beautiful spring day on April 13, 1937 in Montgomery County, Tennessee to Garfield Dunlop and Irene Wilkerson. She was the eldest of two with her only brother Nathaniel Dunlop preceding her in death.In 1946, Irene Wilkerson with her children moved to La Jolla, California where Mary Dunlop spent her formative years. In 1975, the family moved to San Diego, California. Mary Dunlop attended the University of California of Los Angeles. She worked in the medical field as a Sterile Processing Technician for 38 years.In 1999, Mary Williams joined New Creation Church under the leadership of Pastor Reginald Gary. Her many activities at New Creation Church included her tireless involvement in Women of Faith, the committee for women’s prayer breakfast, a regular attendee at the 8 a.m. worship service, and volunteer for the vacation bible school, to recall but a few. Mary Dunlop was a very lovable person. She loved to have a good time, she loved life and she loved her family.Mary was blessed to live a full and rewarding life. On Sunday, September 16, 2012 she was called to eternal rest.Left to cherish Mary’s memories are her husband Hai Van Duong, her daughter Afua Enchill, her best friend Oretha Larbi and her grandchildren Ezra and Kwesi Enchill.
