I'm sorry to learn of Maurice's passing. He was my 8th grade teacher in Banning, CA, became a friend later in life, and sang at my wedding. Like all of us, he wasn't perfect, but I learned many things from him. In addition to his musical talents, he was an excellent story teller. Condolences to the remaining family I knew many years ago.
