Maurine F. Padilla's Obituary
Maurine Frances Padilla passed away on July 7, 2020 at Lantern Crest Memory Care of Alzheimer’s/Dementia. Born February 5, 1937 in Munday, Texas to Clarence A. Gray and Edna L. Brown. Growing up in Linda Vista & La Mesa she met and then married Samuel G. Padilla Jr. on November 19, 1955 in San Diego, Ca. Maurine was a mother of three Samuel G. Padilla III, Tim A. Padilla, & Jeanna D. Padilla. Grandmother of 4 and Great Grandmother of 6. Maurine had many hidden talents like painting, ceramics, window dressings, drapes, cake decorating & sewing, but her career was (K-Mart Grandma) (17 yrs.) has a clerk jewelry and cashier in her later years. Not only a neighbor mom around the house but, a social butterfly to all.
