Melba June Sparks' Obituary
June, our matriarch, was born on March 2, 1929, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She passed away peacefully, with family present, at nearly 95 years old, on February 15, 2024. June is survived by her beloved children: Jack, Jill, Sean, Nancy, and Peter as well as her even more beloved grandchildren: Sara, Hayley, Madelyn, Joshua, Macey, Hunter, and Braden. June is preceded in death by her husband Lee and her 9 siblings. June enjoyed cooking, baking, and sewing for her family. Alongside her husband, she built her career as a real estate agent in San Diego County. She was a devoted member of the Church of Christ and served as office secretary for many years. She enjoyed participating in missions, women’s ministries, and organizing events. We will miss our mother and grandmother dearly, but her memory will last forever.
