Melinda and I met years ago at one of the Payroll chapter meetings. Ours was a professional friendship, but I could always see and feel Melinda's personal and compassionate touch in all she did. Her battle with ALS gave me additional respect as she was always grateful, kind and a joy to be with, even in this struggle. As I remember Melinda, several phrases come to mind – a kind and gentle soul, dedicated in service to others, strong in spirit and heart and quietly brave. It was a true blessing to have Melinda in my life. Good bye my friend. Peace be with you always.

I was friends with the Beever family in Loyalton and close friends with Melinda's brother Tim. I was in the Beever home almost daily. Will never forget your visiting us in Germany. Melinda was the ultimate planner and had everyplace she wanted to see planned down to the minute. Her 60th birthday celebration/ bash was the nicest and most fun-filled few days!
