Michael Hubbard, 58A much-loved husband, father, grandfather, son-in law, brother and friend, Michael Leland Hubbard, 58, of San Diego, California, passed away, Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at his home.Michael was born April 1, 1956 in Lubbock, Texas. He served in the US National Guard. Michael married the love of his life and best friend, Gloria Rodriguez, in 2002. He was passionate about music from the time he was old enough to hold drumsticks until his final days. Michael was an intelligent, generous man who also had an incredible sense of humor and an infectious laugh. And a heart of gold. He loved his family and friends. And music!Michael is survived by his loving wife, Gloria, daughter Tracy Dominguez and her husband Marc, daughter Michelle Pierson and her husband Tommy and daughter April Balthaser; six grandchildren, Maddie, Lauren, Marlana, Tommy, Brooke and Brandon. He is also survived by his sister, Donna, father-in-law, Nilo, Brother-in-Law, Robby and his fiancé, Nery, nieces, including Maddy and Xiomara, nephews including Jorge and Michael, other relatives and many friends whom he considered family.Michael was loved dearly and will be greatly missed. And always remembered.“The Broken Chain”We little knew that day; God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, In death, we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone. For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories; Your love is still our guide.
