Michael Allyn Meade's Obituary
Michael “Mike” Allyn Meade, Sr., a former San Diego Firefighter and Deputy Fire Marshal died unexpectedly on Monday, July 24, 2023 at the age of 50, in Las Vegas, NV.
Mike is survived by his Mother, Wanda Marshall (nee Jones); his 2 young children Michael Allyn Meade, Jr. and Aubrie Leigh Meade; his 3 brothers Shaune A. Meade, Brian C. Marshall and Alexander L. Marshall; a loving life- partner and trusted confidante, Marshanna Allen, Nieces and nephews Aaliyah, Bianca, Amina, Britney and Leah; and Nephews Malcolm and Daniel.; and Mike's best friend, Rod Alexander, has been a steadfast rock, strong support person and kind ear for Mike, over many many years of friendship while working together in the Fire Department and beyond. Rod will miss Mike immensely! Mike also leaves behind a host of beloved family members in and around the Chicago, IL area, including many loving cousins and old friends. Mike was also well-respected and loved by his co-workers and other long-haul truckers at FedEx Freight, where the younger drivers, affectionately, called him "Dad", which always made him smile!
Michael will be deeply missed. There was no one like him...he was truly a unique, smart and wonderful man!!

Funeral arrangements are scheduled for both a chapel and graveside service on August 19, 2023, 9:00 am in the Garden Chapel at: Greenwood Memorial Park 4300 Imperial Avenue, San Diego, CA 92113.
