Michael Joseph Scillo's Obituary
As a native San Diegan, Michael Scillo, (“Cito”) was a gifted performer and talented artist/musician. His guitar and vocals brought great joy to both family and friends. He performed in numerous venues throughout the San Diego and Del Mar area, both solo and with his uncle Junior Robles, wife Diane and sister Anna. His talented musical ability spanned across many different genres, including Latin, Grunge, Rock, and Classic Rock.He could always lighten any mood with his rapid-fire wit and sense of humor. Caring for his pets, playing Texas Hold ‘Em, watching Mystery Science Theater 3000, and Jason and the Argonauts were some of Cito’s favorite pastimes. He used his productive talents in construction, creating beautifully detailed works of art in rock, cement and carpentry. He was a loving husband, father, brother and son and will be deeply missed by all. Cito is preceded in death by his daughter, Kayla Rae Scillo and is survived by his wife Diane of 36 years, daughter Janna Scillo, son Anthony Haro, sisters Anna, Nicky, Samantha, Annette and Jill, brother P.J., and parents, Clara Somers and Mike and Christine Scillo. Services will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum 4470 Hilltop Drive San Diego, CA 92102
