Honoring Miro
Beloved son of Milorad and Angela Copic, cherished brother of Danila, devoted father to Milan and Emilia, and partner to Catherine—Miro was a man whose passion, kindness, and dedication touched everyone who knew him.
A proud graduate of Morse High School in San Diego, Miro went on to earn two degrees from the University of Southern California and later completed both an MBA and a Master of Public Policy at Harvard University.
Miro had a distinguished career, co-founding BottomLine Marketing. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at Hasbro, News Corporation, Savoy Brands International, and PepsiCo. For over 17 years, he shared his knowledge as a lecturer in marketing and branding for the MBA program at San Diego State University.
But it was Miro’s heart for service that truly defined him. He was devoted to our parish where he served in leadership roles, including Chair of the Audit and Scholarship Committees and as a trusted Advisor. His legacy extends far beyond his professional accomplishments to the San Diego community, where he played a key role with Rotary International, Provisors, KPBS, the Jackie Robinson Family YMCA, and various alumni groups.
Miro’s warm smile, infectious energy, and unwavering commitment to others left an indelible mark on all who met him. His legacy of generosity, dedication, and service will continue to inspire us all.
