Moses Martinez's Obituary
Lead me into a soft light of solitude; hold me in your warm embrace Safe and sound from the perils of gut wrenching heartache and pain. Allow peace, hope, and strength to flow through my veins like the marrow of life. I envision a day when all thoughts are clear as the morning sunrise Happy as a toddler’s giggle Wonderful as a couple’s union A day where the soft light of solitude illuminates only a bright and prosperous tomorrow Where struggle is faded And the world again holds promise But on this day, I mourn the darkness. Blinded by what might have been. Blackness that clouded the sunlight and happiness Addiction that overtook the beauty within And I grieve. We grieve. The incredible, overwhelming nature of loss cascades over the seawall of our lives. Consuming, washing, and drowning us beneath the weight of emptiness A weight only imaginable as what you must have felt in your own way In grief and hollowness that will last for all eternity Despite knowing He has led you into the soft light of solitude Holding you in His warm embrace Safe and sound from the perils of gut wrenching heartache and pain Filled with peace, hope, and strength that flows through your angel wings
