With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Nancy D. Fahien, a devoted educator, cherished friend, and longtime resident of San Diego. Born in Ohio on July 28, 1928, to her loving parents, Clarence Fahien and Wilma Paulus, Nancy pursued her passion for learning, earning a Bachelor’s degree before dedicating her career to shaping young minds.
For 30 years, Nancy served as a teacher, leaving a lasting impact on generations of students with her wisdom, patience, and unwavering commitment to education. After making San Diego her home for 65 years, she built a life filled with love, learning, and community, touching the lives of all who knew her.
Nancy’s legacy lives on through the many lives she influenced with her kindness and dedication. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
