You were a beautiful light! A pillar of San Diego. I can recall numerous conversations with you at your son's carwash on Skyline. I can recall your words of wisdom. Your laughter. Your charm.
I can clearly remember the last time I saw you at my grandmother's house, Mrs. Pauniece Dozzell, on the day we celebrated her life. You were 90 years young! Still sharp! Still witty! Still one of the sweetest ladies I've ever been blessed to meet.
