Nguyen Hiep Banh's Obituary
Nguyen H. Banh was born in China on March 18th, 1928 by his proud parents. He dedicated his life working as a business owner in retail for about 25 years in Vietnam. He met the love of his life, Cu Huynh in Vietnam, whom he spent many happy and loving years with. Nguyen resided in South Vietnam for some time. Unfortunately South Vietnam was lost to communism in 1975 and in 1978 Nguyen and Cu left Vietnam and started their lives from ground 0. Nguyen initially traveled to Hong Kong from Vietnam until Mr. Frank Schoen, a member of the La Jolla Presbyterian Church sponsored the Banh family to come to San Diego, California. Nguyen resided in San Diego for about 20 years. He passed away peacefully in his own residence, on December 22nd, 2017 at the age of 90. He leaves behind many friends and family, whom carry on his legacy. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
