Noe Espiritu Ollero's Obituary
Noe Espiritu Ollero
December 19, 1964 – September 20, 2020
Noe was born on December 19, 1964, in New London, Connecticut. He is preceded in death
by his father, Patrick Ollero and sister, Eden Isordia, is survived by his mother, Corazon
Espiritu Ollero and three siblings, Oliver, Myra and Patrick Jr. He also leaves behind four
nieces, Leiana, Mylie, Olivia and Isabella, four nephews, Ernie, Christian, PJ and Rider, his
extended family Denise, Maricel, Daryl Jacinto and Danny McKenzie, not to mention many
cousins and countless friends.
Growing up, Noe traveled between his dad’s Naval homeports with the family and on leisure
trips as well. From his birth city in Connecticut, they moved to Virginia, then Rhode Island,
visited the Philippines and finally settled back in the states, here in San Diego. On summer
vacations the family took trips to Washington D.C., Colorado, New Mexico, Canada, the Bay
Area and Las Vegas. They saw landmarks that included the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz
Island, the Hearst Castle, the Grand Canyon, the Space Needle and the Hoover Dam. On his
own, he got to travel to Austria and also went to Japan on Kyocera International’s foreign
exchange program.
Noe liked to be active and loved sports. In his youth he played little league baseball and then
in high school was on the football team at Sweetwater High School. Throughout his adulthood
you could find him watching any and all sports - the television was on to whatever sport
happened to be airing especially hometown teams, “San Diego” Chargers and the Padres.
Not only was he sporty, but he was a Jack of all Trades. While he got his apprenticeship in
plumbing and pipe fitting he could fix just about anything. He was always working on projects
for home maintenance and especially on cars. There wasn’t a car problem that he couldn’t fix
and everyone knew it, so there was always a car with its hood popped open with Noe
underneath it.
But as sporty and as handy as he was, Noe was also caring. He had a kind and generous heart
and was always interested and concerned for others especially his mother who in most recent
years he would cook and look out for, and his nieces and nephews who he loved to be around
always cracking jokes and making them laugh.
Noe was carefree and lived each day to its fullest. To know him is truly a blessing. A loving
son, brother, uncle and friend – Noe will be greatly missed.
