Norma R. Demonteverde's Obituary
Norma Demonteverde (nee Raymundo) born on December 1, 1954 in Olongapo City, Philippines, has joined our Creator in October 26, 2014, in San Diego, California.Growing up primarily in Olongapo City, she graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1972. She finished her college with a degree in Banking and Finance at the University of the East, Manila, Philippines.The last job she held was with Chicago Title Insurance in San Diego until she had a stroke in 2003. Despite of her physical weakness, she was able to perform her duties as mother and housewife. She then became a volunteer at Alvarado Hospital in San Diego. She was the President of the Comebackers Neuro Club in Alvarado Hospital until her demise.Norma is survived by Teodoro Demonteverde, her husband for 28 years, and son, Emmanuel. She is also survived by her father, Artemio Raymundo, Sr., step-mother, Eliza Raymundo, siblings, Virginia Bonilla, Benjamin Raymundo, Editha Mon, Artemio Jr., Vernaldo Raymundo, Rael Raymundo and Rhea Raymundo, in-laws, nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.Norma has always been known for her warm smiling face, a caring hand and delicious cooking. She always puts family, friends and people first. She has touched the lives of many and will always be remembered in our hearts forever.Rosary will be recited at Greenwood Memorial Park & Mortuary 4300 Imperial Avenue, San Diego, California on November 3 and November 4 during the viewing. A Memorial Service will follow on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John of the Cross Church 8086 Broadway, Lemon Grove, California with Rev. Peter Navarra officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Greenwood Memorial Park.
