Eric Brown
Norman, I miss you stopping by to visit, to relax, and to smile. You were always working, going someplace, hurrying to be somewhere. Yet, you always had your mind on Kevin, wondering how you could improve your communication or express your deep love for him.
I appreciated you stopping by to visit, to simply check in on me. We would relax and visit for 20 minutes or 2 hours. What always drove me crazy was when you would already be parked, calling me to see if you could stop by, and me realizing you were already at the door. And, if I didn't answer it immediately, you were gone.
I could see the pain you held inside. I wish any of us could have found a way to reach you, reduce what you did to escape it, and convinced you of what immense value you often were to others. You were always taking care of people, looking out for them, even if it frustrated you.
I hope where you are now, you are at peace, not thinking one moment of your time here on earth but exploring life on that next plain. May the warmth of your heart warm your family and friends.
I was thinking of your friendship today and missing it. Your personality, care, and passion has not been replaced in the world yet.
RIP, Norman. You are remembered and missed.
