Olive M. McHenry's Obituary
1932 - 2026
San Diego, CA
Olive Margaret Kalp, daughter of James and Ella (Wigle) Kalp, was born in Latrobe
Pennsylvania, on October 24, 1932. She was predeceased by her sisters Bonnie Muccioli, Hazel Shepler and brother John Kalp.
She married Robert Joel McHenry, October 24, 1953, who passed away, November
- They loved to travel and attend the annual Kalp-Craig reunion in Acme, PA.
Olive, (Peggy) enjoyed her job and friends she made while a telephone operator at
AT&T. She loved life, enjoyed her independence. She was always there for family and
friends. She volunteered on the Oak Park Community Council where she lived and
helped drive Teen Challenge residents to volunteer opportunities.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws Karen and Hartmut Klawitter, Kim
and Carey Osieczanek and Cynthia McHenry. Grandsons Isaac and Troy Osieczanek
and great granddaughter Violet Osieczanek-Boom and many nephews and nieces.
Services at Del Cerro Baptist 11am Thursday 2, 2026 with reception to follow. Grave site
interment at 2:30pm, Greenwood Mortuary.
