Pantaleon I.C. Pangelinan's Obituary
PANGELINAN, PANTALEON I. C. – Born on July 27, 1935 in Sinajana Guam to the parents of Guido Blas Pangelinan and Catalina Leon Guerrero Castro. His twenty year enlistment with the U.S. Navy took him from Guam to the United States. A resident of National City for the last 48 years, Pantaleon passed away at the age of 80 on February 8, 2016 in El Cajon, California. Pantaleon is survived by his second wife Charito Pangelinan and his children Jacinta Garcia, Pantaleon Pangelinan Jr., Dolores Garroutte, Felix Pangelinan, and Joseph Pangelinan. He is also blessed with nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren. Pantaleon’s funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in National City and interment at Greenwood Memorial Park and Mortuary in San Diego.
