Patricia J Potter age 90 now with Jesus in Heaven.Patricia J. Potter, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister was born April 5, 1927 and died peacefully on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2018. Patricia and her family have lived in San Diego County since 1956 where she helped her husband Forrest run a successful construction company. Patricia worked as a legal secretary, and bank secretary all while raising her family. But above all of her talents she was a great mom, cook and homemaker. She truly did it all in style never missing her weekly trip to the beauty salon to make sure she looked great.Patricia was born in Endicott, New York to Rodney L Steele and Beatrice Abrams Steele. She attended Vestal High School where she was a cheerleader and active in all sports and found and married Forrest L Potter, her high school sweetheart in 1946. Forrest pre-deceased Patricia in 1993 also her brother in law, Jim Potter and her nephew Michael Partridge have recently gone to soon.Patricia is survived by her sister, Gayle Steele Jessup, of Endicott New York, and also a younger sister Sharon Steele Pompeii of Endwell, New York, her daughters Judy Potter Scharnow, Jan Potter, and son in law Larry Scharnow all of El Cajon, California. Also surviving Patricia are her four grandchildren, Leslie and John Fazio, Lon Scharnow and Brianna Sandoval, Lee and Brianna Scharnow and Luke Scharnow. Patricia has 5 great-grandchildren, Nick and Christi Fazio and Kaylee,Gavin,and Savanna Scharnow. Patricia is loved and missed by her brothers and sisters in law, Jerry and Bev Potter and Gail and Paul Bennett and Carol Potter and many special nieces and nephews in different states. Donna Jessup Mooney and Craig Jessup, of New York, Pam Potter Dragoni and Frank Dragoni of New Jersey and Wendy Potter Kaminski of Pennsylvania Barbara Partridge Lee of Georgia and Linda Partridge of New York, Steve, Mark and Tim Potter all of Florida, Joseph and Michelle Pompeii of New York and their spouses and families.Services will be held at Greenwood memorial park, San Diego,California Sally Lynn chapel, On February 28, 2018 at 1 o’clock in the afternoon
