Patricia Joyce Wiggins' Obituary
Our loving Mom, Patricia Joyce Wiggins (Lamb), passed
peacefully at home February 28, 2023 with her children by
her side.
She died as she lived with dignity and grace and will always
be remembered by her infectious smile and her kind and
loving soul.
Born in Wilson, Oklahoma, “Pat” and her family made their
way to San Diego in 1942. She attended Central
Elementary, Woodrow Wilson and Dana Jr. High Schools
and graduated from Pt. Loma High in 1949.
Pat worked at Solar Turbines as a Material Tool Analyst and retired after 35 years of
dedicated service. After her retirement she enjoyed traveling with her sisters Lou and
Fran as well as with her brother-in-law Marshall and niece Melinda. She was actively
involved with her alumni friends from Point Loma High, The San Diego Rose Society,
and the Solar Retirees Association.
Pat loved her family and enjoyed spending holidays and special occasions with them.
Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband Gene, her parents Elmer and
Mentie Lamb and her sister Frances Keeney.
She is survived by her sister Louesta Dyer, her sister-in-law Joanie Wiggins, her
children Cheryl Hatch, Shannon and Kevin Wiggins, her grandchildren Ryan and wife
Kendra Hatch, Erica Hatch and husband Dave Buse, Mia, Kate, great grandchildren
Harper, Piper, Tristan and Hadley, and many loving nieces, nephews, and their families.
The family would also like to recognize her longtime partner Curt Marker and his family.
She loved all of you!
Services and Celebration of Life will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at
Greenwood Memorial Park 4300 Imperial Ave, San Diego Ca 92113. Salli Lynn Chapel.
