Mr. Cech has been on my mind for a while now. I attended Coronado High 1973-1974 as a special transfer from Morse High School. Because he was my choir teacher in elementary school (Glorietta), I knew I wanted to sing in his choirs when I got older. He was always the best teacher and friend. He taught me so much and made me feel apart of the family at Coronado. I remember when his boys where little, he asked me if I wouldn't mind taking them across the street to the park (while he worked in his office). Now I know why he's been on my mind, all these years. Even though I moved to Tennessee in 2008, California and the people who made an impact in my life, will always be in my heart. I love you Mr. Cech (yes, I still call him Mr. Cech even though I'm almost 61 years old). Rest well in the arms of The Father and say hello to my mom.
