Pedro Castillo's Obituary
Pedro Castillo was born February 27, 1946 in Santa Maria, California. The only boy of seven children born to Pedro and Dominga Castillo. He was raised in the small town of Guadalupe, California. Pedro would experience tragedy at 8 years old loosing his father to illness. This would only make him the strong positive man he would become. His enlistment into the United States Army at the age of seventeen would start in Fort Polk Louisiana, taking him on an adventure to Italy, Germany, Greece, Japan and in 1969 to Vietnam. His enlistment ended in 1970, and then he travelled to San Diego where he met his wife, Alicia, and start a family of four children. He worked hard as a skilled mechanic and auto body and paint specialist. He would then work at San Diego Community College in the skill center where he himself had attended as a student. He would retire from his position but continue to frequently go to SDCC to interact with the many friends and colleagues he had made. He was always highly spirited, very well liked, sociable and a man of God. This is the way Pedro was all the way to when the Lord Called him home on June 30, 2016. He is survived by his wife Alicia Castillo his children Cherry, Pedro III, Juan and Aimee Castillo his Grandchildren Pedro IV, Elijah, Lizette, Noah, Johnny and Guy Castillo his sisters Frances, Susan, Pauline, Linda and Mary and many Cousins, Nephews and Nieces.JOHN 5: 24-25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word, and believeth on him who sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death unto life. Verily, verily, i say unto you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the son of God and they that hear shall live.
