Peggy Bossier's Obituary
Phyllis Margaret Bossier “Peggy”Sept. 24, 1921 – Dec. 24, 2018Peggy joined her loved ones in Heaven on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2018. She started her life journey in Sheridan, Wyoming; moved to Colorado Springs at one year of age; then to San Diego in 1924. Her mother, a teacher, raised her three children as a single parent, with Peggy being the youngest. She graduated from Hoover High School in 1939.She was blessed with two “wonderful” husbands. With her first husband, Jack B. House, of 28 years (who passed in 1969), she had four children, Carolyn, Margie, John and Andy. Her second husband, Robert S. Bossier, of 34 years, passed in 2006. Her children were raised to share her love of God, family and Country. She grew up loving animals, sports and the outdoors with all its rugged beauty. She was happiest in the mountains, sitting by rushing rivers, hiking to waterfalls, listening to the wind in the trees and watching wildlife. She and her second husband, Bob, enjoyed their retirement, traveling in their motor home several months a year, visiting all of the U.S. States and all Canadian Provinces. They spent four summers in Alaska (their favorite state). She was a wife, daughter, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Throughout her life she remained a strong, spiritual influence to us all. Her last days were more comfortable because of the loving care she received from Amazing Grace “angels” who attended to her every need. Her sweet spirit will be missed by all of us. Our cherished memories will stay in our hearts and always be a part of us.
