Celebrating the Life of Petra L Gonzalez
Born on September 17th, 1944 in Durango, Mexico. When she married, she settled in Culiacán, Sinaloa where she formed a life with her Husband and raised her children.
She was married to Roberto Gonzalez Ochoa for 61 years.
Petra instructed her children in the Christianity faith. Every morning Petra would read her bible and Pray for her entire family.
Petra was talented, giving, strong, dedicated, and loving.
Petra dedicated her time to her husband, her 13 children, her grandchildren, and her home in San Diego where she planted a garden with an abundance of different flowers and plants. Petra loved waking up every morning to smell the fresh air and feel the breeze across her face. She loved spending time in her kitchen baking bread, cooking broths, making handmade flour tortillas, and gardening fruits and vegetables. Petra’s Joy was seeing her family united and together. Petra was always accompanied by her two dogs, Gordo and K.C. She also had a bird and chickens in her backyard. She always enjoyed a mug of coffee in the mornings, cooking with the fruits and vegetables from her garden and a cold glass of coke.
Petra leaves behind 13 children and 22 grandchildren that will greatly miss her.
