On Wednesday November 20, 2019, Phil D. Monaco, loving husband, father, brother, son, and uncle passed away at the age of 52.Phil was born on March 6, 1967 in Savannah, GA to Dale Goethe and Phil Monaco. He served in the United States Marines from 1985 to 1989. On December 3, 1994, he married Christina Paraiso in San Diego, CA. They raised one son Philip Monaco Jr. and two daughters Cynthia and Cecilia.Phil had a passion for baseball and loved singing country music. He loved the New York Yankees and spending time with his family making memories. He was adored by all of his family members. He was known for his funny personality. He was the life of the party, and everyone’s favorite uncle. He will be remembered singing his favorite song “Live Like You Were Dying” by Tim McGraw, with his cowboy hat on.Phil was preceded in death by his father Phil, and is now reunited with him. He is survived by his wife Tina, his 3 children, Philip, Cecilia, and Cynthia, mom Dale, brother Scott, sister Kelli, several nieces and nephews, and extended family members who loved him very much. Funeral Services with military honors will be held on Friday December 6, 2019 at Greenwood Memorial Park and Mortuary at 11 am. Flowers may be sent to 4300 Imperial Ave. San Diego, California 92113.
