Aunt Phyllis has always been an inspiration.She and my Uncle Dave were there to help and give support for my mom and me when my father passed away many years ago. After Uncle Dave passed away, Aunt Phyllis's positive attitude toward life continued during the rest of her life. During our last visit with Aunt Phyllis, she told stories of her life growing up on a farm. We talked about the the great Swedish and Norwegian food that our ancestors enjoyed. We planned on having Lefse during our next visit together and discussed who might be able to pass the tradition of making Lefse on to the next generation. We have fond memories when my mom, my wife Mary, and I would join my Cousin Kareenie, Aunt Phyllis and other relatives at Christmas during recent years. These were special times which we all shared together during the holiday season which we will never forget. We will miss Aunt Phyllis very much.
