Phyllis Raquel Payne "O'GLOREE" June 14, 1958 – May 9, 2026
Phyllis Raquel Payne, lovingly known as "O'GLOREE," passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia.
Born on June 14, 1958, in Roatán, Bay Islands, Honduras, she was the beloved daughter of Ernie Victoren Grant & Harold James.
Phyllis grew up with a strong faith in God and a deep dedication to family, building a life centered on serving others and bringing people together.
Phyllis R. Payne was a real estate agent known for her perseverance, care, dedication, and sense of humor. More importantly, she was a devoted prayer warrior whose faith touched countless lives. She prayed with and encouraged people around the world, ministered to those in need, and had a special passion for young people and youth ministry.
Phyllis believed in putting her faith into action. Her compassion for others extended beyond words, as she opened her heart to those in need. Her kindness and generosity were recognized when she was featured in a newspaper article for helping a homeless family living in their car and supporting them with compassion, resources, and encouragement until they were able to purchase a home and regain stability.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and bringing loved ones together through holiday meals and gatherings. Her faith, generosity, and loving spirit touched countless lives and will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Phyllis was blessed to share a special bond with Hermana Sandi, whose friendship, spiritual guidance, and unwavering love were a cherished part of her life.
She is survived by her children:

As well as extended family members and many dear friends who will cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by Ernie Victoren Grant, Harold James, and Selvin Dilbert.
