Phyllis Lavon Tindell's Obituary
Phyllis Lavon Tindell, was born on March 1, 1919 in Iowa to William Hendershot and Sue Rogers. She was the first of three children. She attended Conrad High School. She was married to the late, Addison B. Tindell. They lived in La Mesa, CA for 54 years. Beside being a homemaker, she also volunteered at Sharp Grossmont Hospital for 35 yrs. She was also apart of the Eastern Star. She loved listening to songs by Glen Miller and Big Band era. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church were she faithfully attended services every Sunday morning. The most important event in her life was turning 100 years old. Her favorite hobby was searching family genealogy. She was a faithful loving wife and mother.
She leaves behinds three sons; Philip Tindell( Marilyn), Robert Tindell (Tina), and Richard Tindell. Six Grandchildren; Eric Tindell, Anthony Tindell, Jeremy Tindell, Nick Tindell, Matt Tindell, and Caitlin Dungan, 10 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchilden.
