Qing Yi Kuang's Obituary
Qing Yi Kuang (PoPo) passed away on the night of April 2nd, 2024, in San Diego, CA at the age of 95. Qing Yi Kuang was born on July 2nd, 1928, in Taishan, China. She was the youngest girl of 13 children. She married Xian Jiang Lin in Taishan, China and together they had 4 daughters. She was a homemaker until her husband passed away at the age of 35. At that time, she became a single mother and joined the workforce to support her 4 daughters. We are proud of all that she has achieved. She immigrated to the US in 1990 and has resided in San Diego ever since.
Qing Yi Kuang was a strong-willed, hardworking, loving, generous, dependable, and kind person that touched the lives of those around her. She was the ultimate caregiver for her loved ones, always making sure everyone is happy and well fed. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family.
Qing Yi Kuang loved playing mahjong (can play many hours at a time), was a talented knitter, and enjoyed watching Chinese dramas. She has always been the most caring person that we know and always puts others before herself. We will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her 4 daughters: Judy, Li, Yi, and Mei, her 4 granddaughters: Annie, Angel, Ada, and Amiee, and her 3 great-grandchildren: Henry, Zoe and Zac.
