Rachel D. Graham's Obituary
Reverend Rachel D. Graham was born on January 4, 1949, in San Diego, California. She was the youngest child of six children, born to Bertha Lee Wilson and Henry Otis Wilson.Under the mature and steady guidance of her mother, Rachel accepted Christ at an early age, and was baptized by Bishop J.A.Blake, Sr., of Jackson Memorial, Church of God in Christ (COGIC). Rachel lived a life of service starting in the local church. She joined Evangelist Temple COGIC Pastored by Elder Luis N Taylor, serving as the Choir Directress, Radio Announcer and Chairman of the Trustee Board. Subsequently, Rachel was honored to serve under the leadership of Pastor John Wilson, at Miracle Deliverance Temple (MDT) COGIC, where there was a strong emphasis on Witnessing, Christian growth, and Church and Business Management. Rachel served as Chairman of the Trustee Board, President and Director of the Sanctuary Choir, Director of the Shepherd and Shepherdess Support, and Director of Stewardship Department. While serving at MDT, Rachel went through a season of tremendous challenge and strife. During this period, Pastor Wilson delivered an anointed Word from the Lord to Rachel, that God would bring her before thousands of people and through her life many would get saved and be born into the Kingdom of God; God brought this to pass.Rachel was an ordained minister of the Gospel and Vice President of the World Prayer Center and Partner Relations at Morris Cerullo World Evangelism (MCWE), where she was employed over 26 years. Well respected for her professional acumen, zeal, determination and love for the partners, Rachel held several positions at MCWE eventually elevating to Vice President. At the heart of her exceptional work ethic were her love for God, dedication to the mission and foundational principles of MCWE, and the love and care for the partners of MCWE.As the Vice President of Partner Relations, Rachel managed the ordination process for MCWE including application, vetting, and interviewing designated applicants. Rachel hosted Morning Prayer for all conference events, where hundreds of intercessors met to pray. She led the intercessors in powerful, effectual, and fervent prayer for the nations, with an expectation of breakthrough. Rachel coordinated and scheduled trips for the Global Prayer Strike Force Team in advance of global crusades. Through leading Global Prayer Strike Force team, she has ministered in countries all over the world for the Kingdom of God. Rachel managed the Prayer Command Centers and coordinated with the Global Satellite Network Director in various countries around the world. She supervised the Call Center, which handled thousands of requests for prayer, and ensured every aspect of partner support was informed by the love of God.In 2011, God inspired Rachel to establish Rachel Graham Ministries. Each year Rachel conducted Spiritual Warfare Conferences, emphasizing the power of prayer to the men and women of God. Her unique and dynamic teaching ministry created an atmosphere that transformed lives, as she traveled across the nation, powerfully ministering the Word of God.Education was important to Rachel. Her personal academic accomplishments included a Bachelor of Theology, Life Christian University, and Bachelor of Arts in Education from San Diego State University; and, Master of Arts in Curriculum & Instruction, National University/California State University,San Marcos.Reverend Rachel Graham was a career Navy wife, and is survived by her husband, Christopher Graham. Her brothers: Henry Wilson and Pastor John S. Wilson; Her Sisters: Evangelist Thelma R. Brown and Minister Patrice Wilson Edwards as well as a host of family: uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, god‐children, church friends, her World Evangelist family and many friends and acquaintances all over the world.
