Rafael Corona Mora's Obituary
Rafael Corona Mora, was born in El Grullo, Jalisco, Mexico, on May 31st, 1926. He was the son of Rodolfo Mora and Josefina Corona. He was raised in Mexico City, where he attended a military academy, followed by work in civil service. Rafael was in law enforcement for several years, and promoted to agent, with the special services unit. In 1948, he moved to San Diego, where he resided nearly 70 years. He dedicated 16 years as a farmworker in the agricultural business and as Lead Supervisor, for a local onyx and marble company, until his early retirement. Rafael passed away on December 22, 2018, at the age of 92. Rafael is predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Felipa S. Mora, and his son, Raul Mora, whom he now joins. He is survived by his 5 children; Ralph Mora, Rodolfo Mora, Rosalinda Mora Castillejos, Rita Mora Bendixen and Rebecca Mora Fredrickson, his sister; Rosalinda Arellanes, his 11 grandchildren, his 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great, grandchild. He will be missed dearly by his loving family and friends.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite charity.
