Ralph Joseph Romano, Jr.'s Obituary
Born to Ralph & Wilhelmina Romano on March 3, 1922 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Moved to San Diego California in June 1928. Graduated from Hoover High School in June 1940. Attended San Diego State University for two years. Joined the Navy on November 17, 1942, was discharged on March 5, 1946. Was employed at North Island Navy Base as an apprentice aircraft mechanic – Retired as a supervisor in 1984 ending his career in the civil service As a sideline worked as a musician in marching bands, symphony orchestras, large dance bands and finally in three and four piece combos.
