Dear Ramona,Thank you for everything. You came into our lives when we had experienced a horrible tragedy. I remember the first day you came into our home: I was having a major argument with a therapist. I did not think he was doing his job and I told him so. He didn’t want to do anything to help P. He looked to you and tried to get you to side with him, but you agreed with me and P. When he left, you said: Hell yeah, I’m taking this job you got drama here! From that day you and P became “Partner’s in Crime!” You helped make what we were going through much easier with the laughter and hilarious days! I remember the day we were going to one of P’s many appointments in the ambulance transport. I went to get out the ambulance and fell and stumbled and hit the ground. You fell down on the ground laughing hysterically, when you stopped, you finally asked if I was okay. You laughed at me for months on that one. There is no one like you Ramona! When we were struggling to make ends meet, we both came up with plans to make sure both households had food to eat and we were good as long as we had some hotlinks, bread and potatoes! From the ambulance staff, to our many trips to the Taco Shop, and all the neighbors, everyone loved you and thought you were beautiful. When I went to the Taco Shop 10 years later, I was still being asked: “Where’s Ramona?” My Mom and my Sister: Where’s Ramona? Years later, When we were messaging each other, I asked if I could take you and Aiyana to lunch and you told me about your weight loss. I didn’t think anything of it. We messaged more and you had started telling me you were tired and just having a lazy day, and I didn’t think anything of it. I messaged and let you know that P was in the hospital. You came immediately and got him laughing as usual and you looked beautiful as usual. I thought, all was well. We messaged more and laughed even more… I message you again and invited you to Ps birthday party. You told me you were not well, but okay. I was worried and sent you hugs, but thought…all was okay. You and your beautiful family had become a welcome part of our lives…Henry and each of the kids: Abel, Anita, Alex and my riding buddy, Aiyana! I remember when you first came to our home and they were all in the car when Henry dropped you off for work… You are still all a beautiful family! Thank you for helping ours and being there for us…we will be there if your children should need to reach out to us. I missed the signs that something was wrong. I miss you Ramona! We all do. You have not fallen; you have risen. We love and miss you my Dear Friend…!
