RaNae Jean Seaman's Obituary
RaNae Jean Bair Seaman, 77, passed away January 23, 2021, after a battle with Cancer, surrounded with love from family and staff at Villa Lorena Assisted Living.
RaNae was born on March 9, 1943 to the late Glen and Melba Bair. RaNae was the eldest of four and is survived by siblings, Sandy (& Terry) Risley of Viera, FL; Don (& Linda) Bair of St. George, UT; and Rick (& Judy) Bair of San Diego, CA.
RaNae was an All Star Track & Field Athlete at Mission Bay High School, graduating in 1961. She pursued the Javelin and won many accolades, including numerous metals, setting and shattering US records and going on to compete for the United States in the 1964 Japan and 1968 Mexico Olympics. RaNae attended San Diego State University where she obtained her undergraduate and Master’s degree and started coaching and teaching at Madison High School in San Diego from 1971-2003, and was also Athletic Director there as well. She loved to read and cross stich and play volleyball every week. She enjoyed the outdoors and was continually serving all those she came in contact with. She found joy in spending time with her friends and family and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held in March 2021.
