My mother was one of the strongest and most loving people I have ever known. She raised three children on her own with unwavering strength, independence, and grace, never giving up even when life was difficult.
She was a gifted artist, and her creativity was a reflection of how she saw the world—full of depth, beauty, and meaning. She was also a devoted Buddhist, living with compassion, mindfulness, and quiet wisdom that stayed with everyone who knew her.
To me, she was not only my mother but my best friend. She was my constant support, my safe place, and the person I loved most in this world. I miss her more than words can express, and her presence is deeply missed every single day.
Her love and spirit continue to live on in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and in all the beauty she created.
I love you so much, mom. Love your “sunshine” and your “best friend” Diane
