I only worked for Ricardo for six years through 2005 but he was one of the BEST bosses I ever had in my 3+ decades working for the County. He had his own teaching style for sure, but once you figured it out, you learned a lot.
He was a funny, often frustrating, but caring man who provided the guidance we needed to succeed and many of us, including me had long successful careers because of him. Someone I will remember always. RIP until we meet again.
My condolences to Ofelia and the family. Ricardo touched the lives of many of us, providing his insight, guidance and assistance to me and others. This enabled us to reach our full potential and promote. His laughter and sense of humor made the day go by fast. He will not be forgotten, the memories will continue to keep him in our hearts.
