Richard Christopher Cervantes passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 in Chula Vista, California. Richard was born on Tuesday, December 18, 1962 in San Diego, California to Jose Garcia Cervantes and Mary Dolores Serrano. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his six children, Richard Christopher Cervantes, Jessica Cervantes, Daniel Cervantes, Rici Cervantes Martinez, Jose Cervantes, and Christopher Cervantes, as well as his siblings and grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 24, 2018 in the Garden Chapel of Greenwood Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 2020 Alaquinas Drive, San Ysidro, CA 92173. The family has entrusted Greenwood Mortuary and Crematory with his final arrangements.
