Bill & Pat Holtwick
Dick and I have gone back by knowing each other, from Kiwani’s of Alpine, since the early 1980’s. I was good friends with both Dick and his wife, Betty. Had having had gone through a divorce in 1986, which left me totally in debt, etc., both Betty and Dick took me under their wings, and looked after me. Always inviting me for dinners, and taking me to places where they would go.. such as restaurants, movies, etc.May of 1990 I married my wife, “Pat Holtwick” as she finally was able to meet both Dick and Betty, while we were at the Descanso Junction having breakfast. It was so wonderful seeing them again, after a few years. My wife, “Pat” was very pleased to have finally met them, as the friendship grew between us four.Definitely will MISS Dick, as so remembering of all the great times that he, Betty and I shared, during so many months of their ‘caring for me’ when I was down.Thank you Dick and Betty, for your valued friendship!
