Richard Bryan Walker, Jr.'s Obituary
Dick was born in San Diego, a graduate of San Diego High School and longtime resident of El Cajon.He was a WWII Navy Veteran serving as a Naval Aviator in the North Atlantic Patrol. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Mary Ella Walker, his daughter, Kathy Lam, and two sons, Ronald and James Walker. They have five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.He worked as a finish carpenter for many noted contractors in the San Diego area and was most proud of his work in the San Diego downtown courtrooms as well as the “Electric Living Model Home” in Del Cerro.Dick enjoyed golfing and traveling with his family by car throughout the United States. He passed away from cancer on December 24th, 2017 at 93 years old. Services will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park on Jan. 13th, 2018 at 1:00.
