Ricky Lynn Hamrick was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He left this world on June 29, 2024, at age 71.
He was born to Thurmon Edgar and Hazel Marie Hamrick on October 18, 1952, in Leivasy, WV. Together they had 6 children: Celesta Jill, Fabian, Dreama, Joanna, Heather and Rick David.
Ricky loved spending time in the outdoors, hunting, NASCAR, BBQ’ing, 7/11 “FREESSSHHH coffee”, cross county traveling in their camper aka “Old Betsy” and trips with his wife to Las Vegas, NV. He will always be remembered as a devoted family man. He loved to provide; he selflessly gave to others in time of need. Ricky was charismatic, funny, hardworking, dependable, loving, honest and wise. He was lite hearted, carefree and always remained positive with jokes to share.
He is survived by his wife Edith Hamrick, and children, Fabian, Dreama, Joanna, Heather and Rick David.
Gone too soon but never forgotten. He will be loved and missed forever. Rest In Peace “Pops”.
