Rita Margaret Smith's Obituary
Rita Margaret Smith was born on June 10th, 1939 to her father, Richard Felix Romo and mother, Marie Foussatt. Rita comes from a long family line of the Luiseño San Luis Rey Band of Mission Indians, native to California. Aside from her prideful roots in the county, she was also the first woman to become chief custodian in the school district industry in which she was deeply dedicated to for 23 years. Rita passed away on September 15th, 2017 at the age of 78. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
