ADAMS Jr, Robert Lee's Obituary
Robert Lee Adams Jr. passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of strength, warmth, and an unforgettable presence. He was a man who lived with purpose, valued deep connections, and touched the lives of all who knew him.
Born to Roberta Ann Ruiz and Robert Lee Adams Sr., Robert was a cherished son and a devoted member of his family. He shared a special bond with his siblings—Gary, Kevina, Andrea, and Orlanda—growing up surrounded by love, laughter, and lifelong memories.
Robert enjoyed art, cars, music, and spending time with his family. He took pride in sharing his knowledge and skills, especially when teaching his nephews how to repair their cars and guiding them through lessons about life as young men. His ability to connect, teach, and uplift those around him was a true reflection of who he was.
He will be remembered for his creativity, his independence, and the unmistakable mark he left on the people who knew and loved him. Robert was known for his kind heart, steady spirit, and the way he showed up for those he cared about. Whether through humor, wisdom, or quiet strength, he made others feel seen, heard, and valued.
He is survived by his loving parents, siblings, and his cherished nieces and nephews: Nahjali, Calvin III, Malcolm, De’Andre, Caiden, Ophelia, Jahmani, Olivia, Tsehai, Landon, and Saint, along with extended family and countless friends whose lives he enriched.
Though he is no longer physically present, his memory will continue to live on through the stories shared, the lessons he imparted, and the love he gave so freely.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park, 4300 Imperial Avenue, San Diego, California, on Tuesday, May 5th, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11AM. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance, honor his life, and celebrate the legacy he leaves behind.
