Dr. Robert Robinson DDS's Obituary
Dr. Robert Robinson, DDS was born on April 8, 1938, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was the 1st of 7 children. His parents were Katie Robinson and Leo Robinson. He attended Eliza Miller High School in West Helena, Arkansas, Philander Smith College, University of Illinois school of Dentistry & and a residency of Anesthesiology at Loma Linda University. He earned the following degree, Doctorate of Dentistry. After graduation, he began a career as a Dentist in the United States Air Force. After the Air Force, he began his private practice in San Diego, CA for over 40 years.
He medically retired after serving 44 years. After retirement he worked fervently for little animals in the Housing Association Board and Animal Rescue. He lived in Arkansas, Chicago, Indianapolis, Seattle, WA and Riverside County CA and settling in San Diego, CA. His special friends are William J. Forte, M.D., Mr. Chester Jones and Mrs. Patricia Pasquill. He was a member of a non-denominational church, and the ADA Organization. He was a member of the California State Board of Dental Examiners. He served in the United States Air Force from June 11, 1964 – August 9, 1968, during the Vietnam war and attained the rank of Captain. His most Important Life Events include him moving from Arkansas to Chicago, serving in the U.S. Air Force and graduating from Dental School. His favorite past times included listening to his favorite Music Artist, Diana Ross, Quincy Jones and Celene Dion, playing racquetball, fishing and visiting Mexico.
Dr. Robinson was preceded in death by his parents Mrs. Katie Mae Robinson and Mr. Leo Goodman Robinson and sibling Leo Robinson. He is survived by best friend William J. Forte, M.D., siblings, Katherine Warren M.D., Leola Robinson, Brenda Robinson, Fred Robinson and wife Lisa Huntley Robinson, Phyllis Robinson., two nephews, one niece, one nephew in law and one niece in law.
