Robert E. Lee's Obituary
Robert Eugene Lee was born on August 2, 1924 in Stratford, Texas. Her parents were Albert and Bessie Lee of Texas. Robert was their 2nd and last child. As a youngster, Robert was always planning on being another great military general, just like the Robert E. Lee from our American history. He was devastated to find out that the government would not accept his enlistment due to high blood pressure. His drive for perfection took him far in the aerospace industry, where he became a Tool Engineer for Ryan in San Diego. Robert worked extremely hard and worked his way up the management ladder. People loved working for his team because they were the ones awarded overtime. Robert could be strict at times, but he knew how to motivate men to work hard and do things right the first time. Robert met his recent wife, Barbara Johnson, while dancing. He loved country-western music, big band music, and almost anything with a heavy beat.
