Robert Lee Hook's Obituary
Robert, better known as Bob, was born on June 7th, 1929 in Arlington, Ohio. His parents, Clarence and Amanda Hook of Ohio had a total of seven children; he was the third born. Bob attended Dowling Elementary for grades 1 through 4, and later attended Dunbridge Elementary for grades 5 through 8. Bob enjoyed living a simple life. He was a kind and gentle, easy-going man who was always willing to go along with things your way. He loved playing Eucher (the card game), going Bowling, and watching television. Bob lived in Ohio until his early 50’s when he moved to San Diego, California — which was a highlight for him. He was able to live in his own apartment in a senior-citizen highrise building which has a nice view. He also appreciated great weather compared to Ohio. He will be missed by his family and friends. His ashes will be placed in a scattering garden at Greenwood Memorial Park. A memorial service will take place in Ohio with his extended family.
