Robert Leo O'Day's Obituary
Robert Leo O’Day (85) of San Diego, California, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 14, 2023 after a battle with Dementia. Robert, better known as Bob was born to Everett and Mildred O’Day on August 25th, 1937 in Missouri. After graduating from high school he served in the U.S. Navy and moved to San Diego after his service. He worked as an electrician for the following 60 years, but enjoyed spending his free time gardening and tinkering around in his garage. Bob is survived by his sons Michael O’Day of El Cajon, Duane Spittler of New Mexico and eight grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Patty Lager of Missouri. Bob was predeceased by his wife and love of his life of 25 years, Delores O’Day and his son Douglas Spittler.
