My sincere condolences to the family and friends of "Robbie" Robert Robinson. I was fortunate to meet him through some of his many community service activities. I'll always remember him as a generous person with a huge heart. He will be greatly missed.
"Robbie" served on the Board of Directors of City Heights Community Development Corporation during a critical growth period helping improve the quality of life for thousands of residents through the production of quality affordable housing, neighborhood improvements and economic and job development. I valued his counsel and honesty and commitment throughout those years of service and his other contributions to his own community and throughout San Diego. There are scores of homes in Broadway Heights and beyond that are generating their own electricity from solar panels thanks to the initiative of Barbara and Robbie. - Jay Powell
